AIB Headquarters Breached In Protest Of € 1.2 Million Israel Contract

A protest by YourTechTheirDeaths was held to oppose AIB’s proposed $1.2 million cybersecurity technology contract with a company founded by former members of Israel's military intelligence Unit 8200.

The protest took place through Dublin city centre, passing AIB's Head Office, Grafton Street, Dame Street and Dublin Castle, before entering headquarters, inviting Gardaí presence.

“This is about making the world see that the elites of this world are nothing but filthy vile capitalist sell-outs, “ said one protester.

Campaign organisers say that the contract should not proceed in light of the Zionist Entity’s genocidal actions in Gaza and are urging customers and members of the public to contact AIB directly to express their concerns.

The campaign calls on people to email AIB's Head of Cyber Defence, Eric Barnes, and Head of Media Relations, Paddy McDonnell, as well as contact the bank through its customer service phone line and social media channels.

“‼️IF YOU DO NOT WANT AIB TO SIGN THIS CONTRACT, ACT NOW:

EMAIL

eric.x.barnes@aib.ie (sample email on slide 7 which you can copy)

Paddy McDonnell / Head of Media Relations

Public pressure could influence the bank's decision before the contract is signed, so we encourage our readership to take part.

AIB has not publicly commented on the campaign at the time of writing.
