Why I Heckled Ivana Bacik

Why do I not trust the Labour Party?

There are a lot of reasons and for anyone who judges me or ssshhh's me... You need to remember what they did from 2008 up until now. 

And, it was just Ivana Bacik... I also shouted at Labour Senator Laura Haron. I caught Alan Kelly TD at the gates of Dail calling him "A dirty sellout bastard" which sent him running back into Dail and hiding behind the Garda on Duty.

As an activist it is just hard to listen to them say "we will do everything we can to support students" or "we will protest for as long as it takes to make sure the Government listens to the People".... It is a disgrace that they even try to say the Labour Party are activists, protesters or as TDs a real, believable or trustworthy voice as an opposition party.

The Labour Party is only an opposition party because I and others shouted at them, because Paul Murphy TD was unlawfully arrested along with 23 other Jobstown activists and dragged through the courts on charges of kidnapping the then-Tánaiste and failed Labour Party Leader 'iPhone' Joan Burton. We made sure the Labour Party lost most of their Dáil seats and put them out of the running in getting back into bed with the FF/FG coalition. I have and will always call any Labour Party member a "sellout" and "Labour scum" anytime they try to lie to get votes, public support or media air-time.

For Ivana to try to say she feels the pinch students face while paying rents, college fees and living as a student is BULLSHIT. During the years of austerity, the bailout of our banks and the forced evictions of hundreds of families, the Labour Party supported cuts to the student SUSI funding and made it almost impossible to get access to it. The Labour Party supported the FF/FG agenda of licking Nama’s, the IMF’s and the EU’s balls without any resistance.

And even today, the Labour Party Cllrs along with the Greens are united in the push to raise rents in D.C.C. area. Forcing tenants to pay more and more while never fixing the damp, the mould or even attempting to engage with the tenants who are, alongside CATU, fighting to simply have affordable, safe, dry houses.. I was at a protest at Dublin City Hall where an elderly man was standing saying "my house is in shit, it rains...inside and I can’t have my grandkids over because one has asthma and the damp is just everywhere".

As a Constitutional activist and a protester who records Gardaí, TDs, Diplomats, non-domicilied citizens and their contractors, I have always called out the lies they spew on a Facebook Page called 'Byebye Corrupt TDs'. And I will continue to attend as many Free Palestine protests as I can until our government implements the full Occupied Territories Bill, puts sanctions on Israel, refuses to sell Israeli war bonds, stops the U.S. military from using Shannon Airport as a war-base to enable war Crimes and gives Ireland a referendum that asks the people if we want neutrality inserted into our Constitution.

What I said here is only a little bit of the full story. You’ve got Irish Water, cuts to elderly pay and fuel allowance, cuts to back to school and children's allowance and countless other acts of austerity imposed on the working class of Ireland. 

I will always stand with oppressed people, I will always stand up for the rights of the Irish people and I will always do it while making sure the FF, FG, and the 8 fake independents who prop this government up and the Labour Party are shown to be the EU Puppets that they are.
