Activists from Anti-Imperialist Society of Queen’s University Belfast and BDS Belfast disrupted the Autumn Career Fair event when they learned companies like Caterpillar, Boeing and the British Royal Air Force (RAF) were invited.

The event took place on 13-14 October 2026, inviting 160+ employers with an aim to recruit students.

Activists from the student society entered the career fair on Wednesday with placards, megaphones and Palestinian flags to highlight the crimes committed by these companies. The activists blocked their stalls, resulting a walk out of RAF and Caterpillar.

On the QUB AIS social media page, they write, “No genocide supporters and war profiteers will be allowed to remain on our campus.”

According to several Human right activists, Caterpillar has been accused of providing bulldozers to Israel to help them assist genocide in Gaza, and Lebanon. The US-based construction manufacturing company continue to make multibillion dollar contract with Israel till date.

In 2003, one of the American pro-Palestianian activist, Rachel Corrie, was crushed to death with the same bulldozers during her activism in Gaza.

Similarly, Boeing is one of the companies that profits from genocide in Gaza, as per Amnesty reports. Boeing has supplied Israel bombs, amunition and guidance kits for unlawful air strikes in Gaza. In Decenber 2025, Pentagon announced an $8.6 billion contract for the F-15 Israel Program, under which 25 new F-15IA aircraft with an option for an additional 25 F-15IA aircraft set to delivered to Israel.

In May, the Israeli government made another massive purchase of second squadron F-15IA fighters manufactured by Boeing.

According to the post by QUB AIS, The RAF “has flown over 600 surveillance flights over Gaza since 2023 to provide intelligence to the Zionist entity in its targeting of Palestinians and facilitate the ongoing genocide.”
