Online Platform To Coordinate Protests in Ireland Launched

Any activist in Ireland is familiar with WhatsApp purgatory. More and more, acts of rebellion in Ireland are coordinated through a labyrinth of WhatsApp group chats, Instagram infographics, and word of mouth. In a time where the internet has enabled maximum communication, we find ourselves more disorganised than ever.
What if there is a better way for socialists, republicans, and organisers alike to use the internet to our advantage? What if we had a consistent answer to the question we hear from curious individuals at protests: “Where can I go to learn more?”TrackRebel is a website developed by Cillian Ó Riain that is explicitly designed to aid the revolutionary cause in Ireland! The website is a visual database of protests, marches, educational events, and all other assorted acts of rebellion in Ireland. Designed to be intuitive and maximally useful, the website works on both computer and mobile devices.
What sets TrackRebel apart from other options is the specific Ireland-centric design, and the revolutionary philosophy of continuous community feedback. The revolutionary movement is, slowly but surely, building its vanguard. In order to build this vanguard, and to take down the domination of the Official, Reformist Left over the class struggle in Ireland, we need a culture of comradely cooperation between revolutionaries. TrackRebel, therefore, actively seeks out suggestions from revolutionary organisations on how to improve the service.
We hope to see TrackRebel lay the foundation for the building of a mighty coalition of revolutionary groups and mass organisations in Ireland. To that end, we understand that there are only so many groups in Ireland. Therefore, we are open to implementing group-specific features on the TrackRebel website, at the suggestion of and subject to discussion with any organisation that seeks to build common cause with the radical, progressive movement in Ireland.
