Over the weekend, activists from Belfast Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) group disrupted a careers fair held in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, where the British military was shamefully allowed to advertise careers options to young men.

The activists made a speech at the location, raising awareness of the crimes of the British military, the colonial force which continues to occupy the 6 counties of Ireland, highlighting their involvement in the Gaza genocide.
“The British military has a formal 'defence' agreement with so-called 'Israel', has trained 'Israeli' Occupation Forces (IOF) troops, and purchases equipment from the terror regime, “ they said in a statement on social media.
“Most egregiously, the Royal Air Force has played a crucial role in the Gaza holocaust, supplying vast amounts of intel to the IOF which they have then used for their massacres in Gaza, “ they expanded.
“Shamefully, the Presbyterian Church in Ireland allowed their Assembly Buildings to be used by the British Army to steal the futures of vulnerable young people. If they are true to the best of Christian values, they should not be supporting the war machine, “ they explained.
Just recently, Aontacht Media revealed that the fascist Ukrainian Azov Battalion is advertising in Ireland, targeting young Irish men in a period of great unease and anxiety. It follows a heightened campaign by the media in this country to attack Irish neutrality in lockstep with FFG. The increasing militarization of Europe, including Ireland’s slow but nascent drift towards NATO, is a concern to the working-class.
