The anti-immigration mural has featured in [headlines](https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/republican-socialist-group-paint-bombs-newtownabbey-anti-immigration-mural/a/158800889.html?ref=aontachtmedia.ie) over the past few months “shows cloaked men carrying the flag of Pakistan approaching a war veteran kneeling in front of a graveyard with crusader style crosses”. 

“Racism, bigotry and sectarianism can not be tolerated and must be destroyed, “ Lasair Dhearg stated. 

The PSNI has stated that it will investigate the alleged act of vandalism.
